Ace Estwick, Director
Ace Estwick is a Los Angeles-based operations and media professional with management experience across digital marketing, finance, brand strategy, event production, and project management. He has overseen multimillion-dollar project portfolios, managed investor relations for a private fund, and built strategic partnerships across industries. Ace first became involved with KPFK as a Local Station Board member and transitioned from contractor to Interim Assistant General Manager over the past year. In his role as IAGM, he improved KPFK’s digital presence, produced station events, supported fund drive strategy, developed compliance tools for FCC reporting, wrote grants, and worked directly with hosts and staff to strengthen programming. He has also collaborated with engineers across the Pacifica network on shared software infrastructure.
Dan Pavlish, Producer
Dan Pavlish has been a producer of public affairs programming for the Pacifica Radio Network for over a decade. He has extensive experience with labor union organizing and election work for the SEIU and UNITE-HERE unions.
Maggie LePique, Producer
Maggie LePique has been on the radio since the 1980s, when she was spinning bebop and Kansas City jazz on KCUR in the Midwest. She moved to LA and became a traffic reporter, winning an LA Broadcaster’s Award for her live coverage of the 1992 uprising. She was a regular on The Real Don Steele show on K-Earth 101. Maggie returned to music as KPFK’s music director, hosted Global Village from 2003–2009, and now serves as the station’s interim general manager, music firector, and promotions director. Profiles is her latest project — an in-depth look at the artists who shaped a uniquely creative era.
